What to Expect at Worship at Salem Lutheran Church

• Worship lasts about an hour.
• Liturgical worship is a traditional Lutheran worship service in the Sanctuary, featuring organ music and traditional hymns.
• Sacred Space is a more casual coffehouse-style worship that incorporates music and art with the liturgy.
• Kids are always welcome at Salem!

• Hearing devices are available from the sound booth at the back of the church.
• The church is wheelchair-accessible.
• Attire ranges from Sunday best (collared shirts, ties, dresses) to casual (leggings, jeans, shorts) and everything in between. Come in whatever way you feel most comfortable!
• Weekly Communion is an invitation from God. Christ is the host at the Table. You are invited by Christ as you feel called.
• When Christ calls you to the table, he calls you to his family through Baptism. If you are not baptized you are invited to speak to the Pastor about baptism preparation. When we say, "Join our communion!" We mean both the meal and our connection in community!
• If you are not ready to join the communion, please receive a blessing by crossing your arms over your chest as you approach the pastor.
• Children are invited to the table for a meal or blessing at the discretion of their adults.
• Gluten-free and alcohol-free elements are available.
• If you are unable to approach the table, the servers will bring communion to you.
• We collect offering as a way to share the gifts we have first been given by God.
