giving glory to god

Music at Salem

One of the great traditions at Salem is the music that is shared to the glory of God.  We welcome and encourage you to get involved and join us in our music ministry. Children through adults have the opportunity to get involved singing in choirs, playing instruments, and ringing handbells. These musical involvements enhance the messages of worship, reinforce the teachings of Jesus, and help everyone to get involved with our common mission.

Handbells are a beautiful contributor to our music ministry at Salem. Our handbell choir, Hallelujah Handbells, is always welcoming to new members.  Bell rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the bell room downstairs. If you are interested in ringing bells or for more information, please contact the director, Lori Potter at

The Salem Handbell choirs are members of the Handbell Musicians or America, AGEHR, Inc. We are dedicated to advancing the musical art of handbell and handchime ringing through education, community, and communication. The Guild's motto is "Uniting People Through a Musical Art".
